A Line Sat on Paper Concerts and Events / February 27, 2026 Solo exhibition by Heikki Leis April 26 – June 25 at Käesalu Art Center
Heikki Leis presents a selection of drawings from the years 2000–2023, bringing together more than two decades of work into one exhibition project. “A LINE SAT ON PAPER” focuses on drawing as an independent and demanding art form. Leis’s works are known for their extraordinary technical precision and hyperrealistic sense of detail. Everyday objects and still-life motifs gain a new intensity in the artist’s hands – the line does not merely describe form, but creates presence.
Free entry at the opening Open café At 14:00 there will be a Heikki Leis workshop (pre-registration required)
